Normally this is where I start off with a bad comment like on why I don't like Valve. Yes, Valve has made an awesome thing of steam which I try to play torchlight on from time to time. Or how Lance has an obsession with Team Fortress 2 on Mac that is not healthy for me. Today is not about how much I can talk bad about Valve Day, but The Little Things.
The Little Things was a topic Dan Hsu started some time last year. He may have only done a few entries, but it is time to bring it back because it is worth it.
So a few days ago Valve announced the DLC "The Sacrifice" is coming to Left 2 Dead 2 and the original Left 4 Dead. When I heard this news I tried to paw at it like a joke, but couldn't come up with any way. After a few days I got to thinking about it in a new direction and that is game support.
Valve is showing love to Left 4 Dead owners as well. This game was released back in November of 2008. Many game companies do not show love after release or a few expansion packs or after there sequel has hit. Valve not only shows fans that own the original and the sequel they care and want to bring this experience to everyone. No matter if you can't buy Left 4 Dead 2 or even if you don't own Left 4 Dead any more.
This just goes to show the little things that publishers/developers do make gamers happier is to support your games longer. So what do you think about this little thing?
(I don't like Vavle any more then steam. Also I have not played Left 4 Dead or Left 4 Dead 2 as it is not on the PS3.)
