• Take a look at the making of Ember Isle, part of Rift's massive 1.6 update. "Lore Lead" is one of the nerdiest job titles I've ever heard. It's also one I didn't realize I wanted until just now.

• This Dark Souls trailer is full of crazy spells, rare weapons, and big-ass bosses. Why the hell does a wolf that size need a sword? Maybe it isn't even the wolf's sword. Maybe it's all that's left of the last guy who was foolish enough to try to kill it. I like to think that the wolf isn't wielding the sword so much as trying to get it unstuck from its teeth, and it actually has no idea that adventurer is standing there.

• Jillian Michaels' Fitness Adventure bears a striking resemblance to Legend of the Hidden Temple, a game show I used to love back when I was younger and more easily impressed. So...why is Jillian Michaels dressed like Lara Croft? Or are we not talking about that yet?

• Wappy Dog is a robot dog you control with your DS. It's also proof that the machines are learning. They know we wouldn't kill anything that cute, so when the inevitable uprising occurs, get ready for roving gangs of Wappy Dogs snuggling everything in their path. All shall fear the embrace of the plastic demon!
