Check out the end of this Darksiders GameStop commercial where they use the Diablo typeface. How original.

Video Blips:

• If this Darksiders commercial is to be believed, that poor little girl just had her last Thanksgiving! Forget pre-ordering the game, we wanna know what happened to her! Is she going to be alright? [GameVideos]

Continue after the break for a long but pretty Blade & Soul trailer, the new trailer for Red Dead Redemption, and Bayonetta playing into action game clichés.

• Blade & Soul has some nice looking characters, designed by Hyung-Tae Kim of Magna Carta fame. As expected, this means sexy anime girls that give Chun-Li (and her thighs) a run for their money. [GameTrailers]

• We're still a ways off from Red Dead Redemption's April release, but the game looks awesome so far. This trailer is almost stylish enough to pass for a game based on a Quintin Tarantino movie. [GameTrailers]

• It's not Bullet Time, but rather Witch Time. Nevertheless, that's no excuse for this video having so many crappy time puns -- not on our watch. [GameVideos]

I hope Bayonetta is as good as it looks...

I believe it got a perfect score in Famitsu which use to be a big deal but many games scored that this year. It still says something though!

I'm liking it so far, Travis. The Witch Time thing seems to be the key to success - dodge an attack just right and you will receive a generous amount of time to kick ass. Indeed, the first time I faced a fellow Witch was the hardest battle I've fought, because I couldn't go all slo-mo on her.

@Daniel, I'm assuming you have a Japanese copy of the game?

I do, and with good reason - I live in Japan! Actually it's a loan from fellow Bitmobber Alex Beech. I'm sure the PS3 version is region-free but I know it's also technically inferior to the Xbox version which is NOT region-free, so I would recommend curious folks wait for the international release.

Blade & Soul? Whats this all about? Some sort of crazy Action RPG? If it is sign me up! The trailer makes it look like you have gobs of customization options, which I love.

@Tommy, from what I've read it's an MMORPG from Korean developer NCSoft that's coming to North America. It's kind of an action RPG. I would be more inclined to play it if it weren't an MMO, but that's just my personal preference.
